Peace Solitude Inspiration Nurture Nature Beauty
What would YOU love most in a retreat?
At Pessel, we currently offer three retreat options:
A private retreat is for an individual who wants to take time to pull back from their everyday world, and extract themselves from the pressures and demands of their day to day life to concentrate on something they love, or simply let go and find rest and renewal in an environment of natural beauty. There are options for self-catering, bed and breakfast or full board; complete solitude in a self-contained cottage with all facilities; a luxurious private room in the Manoir, or time in the tower, our lovely ‘blue room’ pigeonnier with en suite facilities, separate entrance and wonderful views. You can also choose to have time with Christine Miller during your restorative retreat to explore your next steps or to be completely independent, and whatever you decide, you will find the magic of Pessel weaves its spell and you will emerge refreshed and ready to re-engage with your life. Find more details here.
Group retreats are offered on a specific topic or area such as creativity, leadership, self-development, relationships, spirituality, and are for a maximum of sixteen people, with six to eight being the more usual number. We are currently offering The Creative Wellspring Retreat – Explore unbounded inspiration, innovation and imagination a four night, five day personal transformation project, intimate and exclusive for only six people. You can find out more here.
In 2019 we are introducing leadership and management events based on the ‘Love at Work’ project which Christine has been researching for several years, to accompany the publication of her findings.
Bespoke retreats and gatherings
Bespoke retreats are created to meet the needs of corporate teams or diverse groups of people who have a common interest and purpose, whether that is for professional or personal development, for leadership, management, artistic, creative, spiritual or other interests. There are also possibilities for pursuing leisure interest and hobbies – for example, there is a group of amateur astronomers who find Pessel’s clear skies and absence of artificial light the perfect environment for star-gazing, ramblers and nature lovers who enjoy the many forest tracks and trails in the area, and artists who simply love the landscape and architecture of the Perigord.
